107 Scots take academic honors from all MIAC conferences

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Macalester College has placed 107 student-athletes on the 2021-22 Winter and Spring All-Academic Conference Team, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced today. Combined with the 93 winners from the fall season, Macalester had the top 200 student-athletes of all time earning All-MIAC academic honors in the 2021-22 academic year.

A total of 1,299 MIAC student-athletes were honored in winter and spring sports. For the year, MIAC recognized a record 2,078 student-athletes.

To earn academic honors from all conferences, MIAC student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while remaining on the official roster in as an eligible team member.
