Clarksville Christian School Announces Appointment of Dr. Andrea Pewitt as Director of Academic Innovation and Strategy – Clarksville Online
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Christian School announced the addition of Dr. Andrew Pewitt as Director of Academic Innovation and Strategy. Pewitt has worked in education for more than two decades and comes to CCS from Lipscomb University, where she served as IDEAL Program Director.
Prior to working with Lipscomb, she was a Cheatham County Special Education Supervisor, has extensive classroom experience and has presented at many local, state, regional and national conferences.
He added that “the face of education is changing, and Dr. Pewitt will work hand-in-hand with our faculty members to continually refine programs, develop new academic initiatives, and equip students and teachers with the tools they need to thrive. »
Pewitt earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Austin Peay State University. She then continued her studies at APSU, where she obtained a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as an Education Specialist Diploma in Administration and Supervision. She holds a doctorate in education from Lipscomb University.
Regarding her new role with the CCS, Dr. Pewitt says, “I feel blessed and honored to begin my work with the CCS family! I am excited to walk alongside teachers on this journey and help them improve teaching, so they can be top notch for CCS students!
