My Hero Academia seems to have confirmed another Dabi theory

There are few characters in my hero academia who stir up a conversation like Dabi. The villain has been a lightning rod since his debut, and his fiery vendetta against our heroes is legendary at this point. As the manga continues its final act, all eyes are on Dabi as her fight with Shoto rages on, and a small manga update seems to confirm a recent theory about the villain.
After all, the character is rocking new duds, and the clothes are pretty hard to miss. Her stylish makeover had fans buzzing weeks ago, and now it seems their theory of Dabi being a fashionista was right.
The last volume of my hero academia scoffed at the theory when it dropped in Japan the other day. Volume 34 ends with a Star and Stripe sketch asking fans to look forward to the manga’s next trade. And of course, she does so by teasing Dabi’s sudden interest in fashion. “In the next Ume volume, Dabi has started getting into fashion?! I can’t wait for it,” she shares.

As you can imagine, fans were quick to react to this stunt as it acknowledges a community-backed theory. If you look back at the start of the final act, fans will see that Dabi ditched her black trench coat for a more breezy look. The villain is shown rocking dark pants and a loose white button down that exposes his chest. The outfit looks like it came from a K-pop music video, and Dabi suits the makeover perfectly. Considering her fashionable style, netizens were quick to wonder if Dabi was actually fashionable after her makeover became public knowledge, and the joke stuck. And now it seems the team behind my hero academia puts its stamp of approval on the dumb theory.
